I wouldn't recommend Verizon.
Here's my boyfriend's experience with them:
Ordered in January. Did not actually get hooked up until February because it took them several tries to get his address correct. 100 1/2 Park Ave was 1001 S. 2nd St at one point. How? I don't know. We had to pick the modem up at UPS because, unsurprisingly, they don't deliver to addresses that don't exist! This was clearly not my boyfriend's fault; prior to this, he had given the address at LEAST three times and no one managed to get it right.
Once the account was FINALLY set up, it worked for maybe two and a half, three months. One day, it stopped working. He called them only to discover that his account had been inexplicably cancelled. In January. Apparently he'd been getting free internet for three months. There was no way to restart his account, and a new account would have required a year long contract. Which he wasn't about to get into with a year long lease that was already four months in.
Needless to say he just gave up on them and sold his soul back to Comcast.
